You’ll Never Be The Same.

immersive journeys shaped by ruach, the Hebrew word for breath, wind and Spirit

We lead people into sacred encounter — where Scripture breathes and IMMERSIVE story becomes a pathway to knowing God.

Many people long to know God more deeply, yet struggle to move from reading Scripture to being transformed by it. Theology can feel out of reach, and when we recover the context in which Scripture was first lived and spoken, its truth becomes clearer, richer, and less vulnerable to distortion. The disconnect between what we read and how fully we understand who God is leaves many longing for something more.

Via Ruach exists to bridge that gap.

We create immersive journeys shaped by the presence of the Holy Spirit — the same Spirit who reveals truth, meets us in sacred spaces, and opens our eyes to the character and nature of God. Trusted theologians unpack the biblical themes at the heart of each trip, while local experts invite you into the land, craft, and story where those truths are still lived today.

Through metaphor, landscape, and embodied practice, Via Ruach Journeys help you encounter God in ways that are accessible, transformative, and deeply human.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION,
NOT VACATION FRENZY

Most trips move too fast, leaving people overstimulated and unchanged. Via Ruach creates unhurried, spacious journeys where Scripture, story, and place have time to breathe. We design for depth, not busyness - so participants return formed, not fatigued.

IMMERSIVE LEARNING,
NOT CLASSROOM LECTURE

So much spiritual instruction happens through sitting and listening — in churches, classrooms, conferences, and traditional settings. But the deepest learning happens when truth is experienced, not just heard. Here, formation becomes something lived, not merely taught.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & EXPERTISE,
NOT GENERIC TOURISM

Travel often feels mass‑produced or disconnected from place. Via Ruach partners with vineyard owners, shepherds, artisans, historians, and practitioners who carry generational knowledge. Our partners ground each journey in authenticity and invite travelers into the wisdom of those who steward the land.

A NAPA VALLEY LAUNCH JOURNEY

In the rolling hills of Napa, where vines stretch toward the horizon, harvest becomes a sacred rhythm. Here, abundance is not just tasted but lived — clusters of grapes telling the story of soil, season, and Spirit. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” (John 15:5)

This journey is about savoring: walking among vineyards heavy with fruit, meeting vintners who tend their craft with reverence, and tasting the harvest as both a gift and a metaphor. It is about joy found in fellowship, gathering at long tables where bread is broken, wine is poured, and stories remind us of God’s provision and expectation of laborers.

Napa is not simply a destination; it is a parable. A pilgrimage into the poetry of the vine, where faith, travel, and storytelling converge to awaken gratitude and deepen connection.

MY PATH

A smiling woman with curly hair wearing a white shirt, standing outdoors with a blurred background of green trees and glass windows.
A woman with dark hair in braids, wearing sunglasses, a black t-shirt, and black pants, sitting on sandy dunes with a backpack, smiling at the camera, with a cloudy sky in the background during sunset.

Faith has always been my foundation, travel my teacher, and storytelling my superpower. Together, they’ve shown me how God meets us—in places that stir awe, through people who carry wisdom, and in the stories that remind us we belong to one another.

I’ve been privileged to travel to more than 55 countries, build a 10+ year career in brand marketing, serve my community through nonprofit leadership, and teach within my local church. Through every season, I’ve become convinced that curiosity and connection are sacred forces. They shape us. They stretch us. They remind us that we were created for community and called to use our gifts in service of loving God and loving others.

Via Ruach was born from that conviction.

It’s a gathering place where faith, travel, and story converge — inviting people to know God and fall in love with His Word. He reveals Himself through Scripture and through the places where His Spirit — His ruach, His breath — draws our desire back to Him.

Via Ruach is an invitation into growth: for believers longing for deeper theological grounding and for spiritual seekers who sense God but want more than what they’ve been handed. It’s a pathway toward wonder, wisdom, and a faith that breathes.

I’m excited for you to join us on journeys that will strengthen your faith and revive your biblical literacy. I promise you’ll never see Scripture the same way again.

Grateful to walk this path with you,

Tionna Chanel, Founder
